GREEN Style: Sharing is an effective mean of going Green
What is green? Well, we all can say more than one definition of what is green. I know you all are right. Green symbolizes what is natural, what is new. Green is that technology that preserves our nature. Green is the food that nourishes us without doing harm to us. A green lifestyle is a lifestyle that does not harm animals and is sustainable. Here, I want to add green thinking that includes any thought to protect bio-diversities and protect the emotions of all animals including human beings.
So, green is safe; safe for you,
safe for me, and safe for everybody. What we do throughout our lives is to
safeguard our lives and that of our loved ones. Yet, in today’s interconnected
world, living a truly green life is not straightforward. For example, while we
buy organic food and travel to a distant place, we emote carbon in the
environment. While we buy green products, fossil fuels could be used in the
manufacturing process, or for transportation, heavy lorries with diesel engines
were used.
So complex! What will we do?
Shall we stop thinking green? Shall we stop striving to be eco-friendly because
it also harms the environment? Of course not!
However, it is our consciousness
that will save us. Our Ethics will save us. Small, thoughtful changes can make
a big difference. Minimal use of vehicles that use fossil fuels can be of great
benefit. Sharing among family members, neighbors, colleagues, and friends not
only controls carbon emotion but also strengthens ties among us.
Hence, we all are busy. Is
everyone busy at the same time? What do you see in your neighborhood every
morning? Hundreds of cars are leaving for schools, colleges, offices,
businesses, and shopping malls. Many of them are going in the same direction.
Here sharing can be a great choice. Maybe we are not used to it. We need to
change ourselves and we can do it. That’s why the car-pooling app is a
successful business case.
Another transformative example of
sharing is the internet. The Internet is sharing information on every PC,
laptop, mobile and other devices online. It allows us to share our feelings,
thoughts, joy, and pain across the globe. While we make our sales successful
through sharing and make known our products through sharing, there are
thousands of examples of our sharing. Into our subconscious mind, we share. It
is in our DNA, that’s how civilization evolved.
However, the use of the Internet
in business is one of the biggest doors to becoming green in many cases. We
have already known the truth. Can you imagine how buying and selling online can
save energy and time? There are many other ways, we can find, we just need to
be open-minded. Our lives, from childhood to old, are enriched by sharing. What
we do not need, we can share it with others. We have seen start-ups for sharing
books, expensive clothes, accessories, etc.
In conclusion, adopting a green
lifestyle is great! But it should not be a personal habit only, rather it
should inspire others to join us in protecting the planet. The real impact
comes from innovation and collective efforts. Let’s not only stand out by going
green; instead, let’s make a difference by encouraging more people to adopt a
sustainable lifestyle.
